Veteran Maryland State Trooper to face drug charges.

A sixteen year veteran of the Maryland State Troopers has been suspended without pay.  Steven Spoonire, a Trooper First Class, and his wife, Jennifer Lynn Frazier,  are awaiting trial on drug charges. 

 

A Frederick County judge will hear the case of their August arrest.  The defendants were found growing marijuana in their house according to police reports.
 

Spoonire's will be tried on March 9.  Frazier's will be tried on January 26.
