Police Investigate Homicide on Seat Pleasant Drive

Prince Georges County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred on Seat Pleasant Drive.
On February 16, 2009, at approximately 5:39 p.m., officers responded to the 6300 block of Seat Pleasant Drive, Seat Pleasant, Maryland for a check on the welfare call. When officers arrived, they discovered 68 year old Willie Jones, of the 6300 block of Seat Pleasant Drive, unresponsive in his home and suffering from upper body trauma. Jones was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators are working to establish a motive and suspect(s) in this case.
