Teenagers plead guilty to second degree murder.

Fifty-six year old Aboubacar Camara, a West African immigrant, was beaten to death on May 28^th.   The crime occurred near Bladensburg High School. Three fifteen year olds now face charges. 

 

The defendants have pled guilty to murder in the second degree. Their names are Marcus Williams, Regina Young-Bey and Calaisha Vaughn.

 

The beating occurred after Mr Camara declined to give Vaughan, one of the defendants, a cigarette.  

Sentencing is expected to occur on March 26^th.  The state is asking for each defendant to receive an 18 year sentence.
