Police Urge Caution after Two Teens were Sexually Assaulted

Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is urging all females in the Oxon Hill area to take precautions after two Oxon Hill teenagers were sexually assaulted yesterday near a local library.

            On February 24, 2009, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the victims, a 15 year old and a 17 year old, were walking through a wooded path in the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road in Oxon Hill, Maryland, when they were approached by the suspect.  The suspect displayed a handgun and forced both victims deeper into the woods where he proceeded to sexually assault both of them.  After the assault, the suspect ordered the victims to flee the area.  The victims fled to a local library where authorities were notified.    

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, in his 20’s, approximately 150lbs., with a slim build, wearing dark pants, a dark gray coat, tennis shoes and a black ski mask.
