Painting stolen from Frederick Arts Council.

“Rocky Road Covered Bridge” ,a painting, has been stolen from the Frederick Arts Council. 

The theft of the $2,000 painting was reported on Tuesday after the exhibit closed. 

The picture was painted by local artist Carol Hutson and depicts a red covered bridge crossing a country stream.

Police are investigating the theft.
