UPPER MARLBORO, MD - The Prince George's County Department of Corrections announced today that Corporal John Hanna was arrested in Prince William County, Virginia on Sunday, March 1, 2009.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD - The Prince George's County Department of Corrections announced today that Corporal John Hanna was arrested in Prince William County, Virginia on Sunday, March 1, 2009.


Corporal Hanna has been charged with Burglary, Rape, Abduction and Brandishing a Firearm and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Crime. He is being held in



 

Manassas, Virginia on a "no" bond status.


 Corporal Hanna has been on administrative leave with pay from the Prince George's County Department of Corrections since January 15, 2009 for an incident at the jail that is still under investigation. 
 

Currently, Corporal Hanna's status has been changed to suspension without pay due to the criminal charges.
