Unidentified skeletal remains found near Frederick, Maryland.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore is examining human skeletal remains for age, gender and cause of death.  Frederick County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating a set of skeletal remains found in a wooded area east of Frederick.


The bones were reportedly found over the weekend by someone walking in a wooded area east of Frederick.  The remains  appear to have been in the wooded area for an extended period of time.
