Police Investigate Homicide on Indian Head Highway
Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a man who was shot early this morning on Indian Head Highway.
On February 14, 2009, at approximately 1:33 a.m., officers responded to the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway, Oxon Hill, Maryland, for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Marvin Lynn Johnson, 19, of the 1500 block of Southview Drive lying on the sidewalk in front of Meade’s Liquor Store with gunshot wounds to his upper body; He was pronounced dead on scene. Investigators are working to establish a motive and suspect(s) in this case.
