Baltimore County teen expected to plead guilty of bludgeoning his mother to death.

It is expected Lewin Powell III will enter a plea of guilty in the first degree murder of his own mother.   In exchange all other counts against him will be dropped. Powell is charged with taking a baseball bat and beating his own mother to death after an argument.  Powell’s lawyers say that his family is content with the plea deal. 

Prosecutors may read Powell’s statement and confession at the sentencing.

Powell is from Baltimore County.
