Open Question: Homeschooling and PSAT in Maryland?

I'm very new to homeschooling for my son, and I would like him to take the PSAT for Montgomery County, Maryland. Has anyone had experience as to how to go about registering him? Also, I believe a photo ID is needed. He is under the age of 16, is the MVA one the easiest to go for, or is their another that other homeschoolers can suggest?
